 Beyond
The Rainbow |
As much as I loved the
life we had and all the times we played, I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade. I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most
beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide! And running through the meadows as far as they eye could see Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be! My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out
to you, to tell you I'm alright That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the
night. 'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold. And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not
be together in the way we used to be, We are still connected by a cord no eye can see. So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

This was our first Pom Zuzu. She went to a
loving pet home where she lived out her last days. I named her after the
movie "It's A Wonderful Life". She was my birthday gift in 1995.
She is the one who started my passion for Poms. She was the matriarch
of our Pom pack.

This was my first "baby", Pookey. She was a gift
from my husband for our 3 month anniversary (of being together heehee cute huh?)
and a pre Christmas gift. She made it through more than 8 moves (they
always stressed her out), other cats coming and going, dogs dogs dogs... kids
kids kids and then just before we moved to our new home, she had decided she was
tired and ready to go Home. It was the hardest loss I have experienced
with one of my beloved pets. I look forward to holding her again.
She passed June of 2004. She is greatly missed.
"...a morning kiss, a discreet touch of his nose landing
somewhere on the middle of my face. Because his long white whiskers
tickled, I began everyday laughing." -Janet F. Faure

This is Tommy. He was the last son of Sunny's and we
weren't planning to keep him but he kept us. :) You couldn't deny this boy
affection. He was the best cat and a GREAT hunter. He was born and
raised in a home where he had free reign over miles and miles of fields and
forests. When we moved, we couldn't keep him in and on one of his
adventures he was hit by a car. I came home from a dog show to the loss.
He will be greatly missed. He was a very special loving boy.
"They will
not go quietly the ones who've shared our lives.
In subtle
ways they let us know their spirit still survives.
Old habits
still make us think we hear a scratching at the door.
Or step back
when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet
still go around the place the food dish used to be,
And,
sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly.
And although
time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill,
That one
place in our hearts belongs to them... and always will." - Author unknown

Gemini's Hav'n Sno Much Fun "Snowy"
This was one of the smallest prettiest babies I have ever had.
He was a
perfect 2 lb package. He will be dearly dearly missed.

Gemini's Flicker o Hope "Blaze"
I loved this baby girl and tried to will her to grow and thrive for 6 months...
you could never have told her she was little or too small. She thought she
owned the world!

Gemini's Indecent Exposure "Streak"
This boy was amazing. He was everything you could wish and hope for in a
show prospect,
but for his size... it broke my heart when he passed.

Noble's Wouldn't You Like To Know "Brody"
I was so excited the day I went and picked
up Brody from the airport... I loved him from that day on. He went
everywhere with me-to ball games to the park with the kids. He
was a very special little man. Tragically he was killed in a
dog attack. It took me months to even speak of him without
bursting into tears.
